Wouldn't it be easier to make a 10/30 tweets thread?

As he should be. We will hopefully be back to the 2008 days. Typically the longer an oline can remain intact the better they get. Not to mention defensive lines getting more and more beat up. I do expect that having Tolbert, Williams, and Stew will present more options for the offense, especially with the new found roles of our running backs catching the ball out in the field beyond the LOS.

Tolbert has played more snaps than Williams in both of our last 2 games.....

Williams was the starter in 2011 and Stewart played more.

Williams does deserve the starter tag though....but there is no such things as a starting RB when we are healthy.

who the starter is won't matter.

they'll go with the hot hand, but no RB will get 15+ carries.

I'm interested to see what they'll do with Mike.

He's hot right now but we have a plethora of options.

Each game presents different issues against each defense.  Who plays the most in the game has to be a function of how each back measures up to each defense and then how they do once the game unfolds.  each back will get his carries.  Then based on how they do, they will more or less carries.

I could see Tolbert and Stewart getting more carries since Williams already has 114 carries and we aren't even halfway through the season..  There is no need to overwork him when we have other options.

this thread is more irritating than anything since there's so much money wasted on people we don't need..

This is all a little presumptuous. Maybe I missed something but Stew isn't on the active roster. Maybe I missed something else but Deangelo hasn't been practicing with a leg injury. We need to let this play out before we even have this discussion.

And Stew doesn't deserve criticism from anyone. When he was healthy he busted his ass and ran people over. He literally ended a guys career with his buns of steel. Injuries are part of the position. If you are angry about the money then you should criticize Marty and Jerry.
