What: Carolina Hurricanes vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
Where: PNC Arena (Raleigh, North Carolina)
When: 7:00 P.M.
TV: Fox Sports South

The Canes are at home tonight and somehow, they are still sitting in second place in the Metropolitan Division.

Tonight the Canes will look to snap their three game losing streak against a solid Tampa Bay team.

Tonight isn't a must win, but it's a pretty big game as the Canes really need to pick up some points in the standings with the Islanders, Blue Jackets, Rangers, and Capitals nipping at their heels.

In other news, Manny Malhotra will make his return to the NHL tonight.

Line Up's

Jiri Tlusty - Eric Staal - Alexander Semin
Nathan Gerbe - Jordan Staal - Patrick Dwyer
Tuomo Ruutu - Riley Nash - Elias Lindholm
Drayson Bowman - Manny Malhotra - Brett Sutter

Andrej Sekera - Justin Faulk
Tim Gleason - Ron Hainsey
Jay Harrison - Ryan Murphy

Justin Peters
Mike Murphy

Scratches: Mike Komisarek, Brett Bellemore
Injured: Kevin Westgarth (day-to-day, out for the weekend), Radek Dvorak (day-to-day, could play this weekend), Jeff Skinner (day-to-day, out for the weekend), Joni Pitkanen (out for the season), Cam Ward (out 3-4 weeks), Anton Khudobin (out 1-2 weeks, will start skating early next week).

Until we get Khudobin and Cam back, wins are going to have to be taken by simply scoring more. I like Peters, but the guy just isn't an NHL level goalie.

Few teams have to deal with losing both NHL goalies...let alone this early in the season....let alone 2 years in a row.
