Apparently Brees is playing like HOT GARBAGE!?

I don't get how some players are allowed to have bad games and others aren't. Throw Cam out the window. Andy Dalton has a rough night last night and this morning all you hear is how he isn't the answer in Cincy. But Matt Ryan can have 4, and 5 interception games and nobody says a word. Same thing with Drew Brees. RG3 is playing like hot garbage and it's gone from he gets a pass for the first few weeks to he gets a pass this year. I just don't get it. All offseason we heard about all in for week one and how he was ready to play and how he was super human and now he gets a pass. If you are not a "chosen one" they will tear you down no matter how well you play. If you are then they will make excuses for you. Quarterbacks have bad games.

Well let's look at common opponents and see

Arizona
Newton 21/39 - 308 yards - 53% comp - 47.8 rating. - 0 TD - 3 INT ---> LOST 22-6
Brees 29/46 - 342 yards - 63% comp - 98.3 rating - 3 TD - 1 INT ---> WON 31-7

Buffalo
Newton 21/38 - 229 yards - 55% comp - 79.8 rating - 2 TD - 1 INT ---> LOST 23-24
Brees 26/34 - 332 yards - 76.5 comp - 146.1 rating - 5 TD - 0 INT ---> WON 35-17

Bucs
Newton 23/32 - 221 yards - 71.9% comp - 111.6 rating - 2 TD - 0 INT ---> WON 31-13
Brees 26/46 - 322 yards - 56.5% comp - 67.5 rating - 1 TD - 2 INT ---> WON 16-14
*Brees played this game in thunderstorm with 1 hr stop and against inspired full team, unlike the team that mailed it in with a bunch of injuries Newton played

Overall
Newton 131/202 - 1552 yards - 64.9% comp - 97.6 rating - 12 TD - 5 INT ---> 4-3 record
Brees 183/271 - 2,290 yards - 67.5% comp - 109.2 rating - 19 TD - 5 INT ---> 6-1 record

So if playing much better over common opponents, leading Newton in basically every statistic all why playing tougher opponents so far is HOT GARBAGE, then what does that say about Newton garbage play? Only thing that has changed is they are preventing Newton from losing games by not throwing down the field, instead leaning on defense and run game. Last game Newton had most his attempts within 10 yards in air. Passes over 20 yards, 1 completed week 6, 0 attempted or completed week 7, 1 completed for 21 yards week 8, so 2 completions in past 3 games. Game plan is obvious, take the ball out of Cams hand except for drinks and dunks. It's like a full time wildcat offense! Lol

Newton was afforded the time to pick his spots with an average depth of target of only 7.1 yards (season average of 9.4) in spite of holding the ball for on average 2.6 seconds

Do the first 4 games cover "first few weeks"? Because if so, Brees had QB ratings of 113.6, 67.5 (in rain), 98.3, 144.5.

Wow, what a terrible stretch those first 4 games!

Maybe a paragraph break will show you what your glaring error was

"Dalton has rough game, Ryan throws 4-5 INT and nobody says a word, SAME WITH BREES."

So even if the sentence is just about RG3, he is still saying Brees has played bad like Ryan And Dalton and nobody has said a word. So when has he played bad other than a single game that was close because Bucs played amazing on defense and it was in rain with an hour stoppage?

In short, when was Brees supposedly playing bad and get a pass?

Aceboogie isn't saying Brees is playing like hot garbage. He is saying that like Ryan, Brees can have a game chock full of mistakes & no one says a word.

The funny thing is you could have made several valid arguments against Aceboogie's claim, but your desire to bash Cam & pretend you're intelligent caused you to sit on your nuts once again.

Thanks for the caps and extra punctuation marks I don't think I would have understood what you were getting at without them.

so...is Zachary pointing out that Brees is, in fact, playing like hot garbage, and then trying to prove that he's not, in the same breath?  wow.
