What a bunch of homers!

But...go back and read the Bills game day thread and tell me how many people thought it would even be close.

We all know the type of candlesticks that stadium is named for, right?

Dink-and Dunk? Our o-line is in peril. It's our only hope at this point.

I like our odds with J-Stew catching dumpoffs in the open field against those DBs. He's fresh and looking to make a statement.

Nothing would make me happier than to come out Candlestick looking like a superior version of everything 49ers fans think their team is.

Said in offseason gettleman would try to build us a version of the 9ers/hawks. Great D and explosive offense. Many were calling for one or the other but I think I agree with you we are all ready a better version of the 9ers

They have this douche for a QB

The trashy, gossip website that Cam was posted on a few weeks ago "The Dirty" has several posts about Kaepernick. According to the people who submitted him, Kap is a creep who stalks girls online.

Def have a feeling the win streak comes to an end this week. Could see Kap having a big game and the OL being a disaster.

So, enough with the Keek-Willis debate.  Both are good enough to put their team in a position to win, and that's all that matters, right?

Let's talk strategy:  I say we sell out against the run.  Kaep is a serviceable QB, and can do some amazing things with his feet.  I think Cam is the better over all QB, especially considering the weapons he has to work with.  If we put an end to rushing attack, which I think we can do, limiting it to around 90-100 yards collectively, I think we win, because that means that Kaep is having to throw the ball to win the game.  And let's face it, he's no Peyton, Brady, Brees, hell, even Ryan, as far as reading defenses and getting the ball out quickly and on target to avoid the pass rush--he scrambles in order to avoid sacks.  But like I said, if their run game is limited to 90-100 yards total, then we have forced him to throw it, which I don't think he is good enough to do.

On offense, we need to continue converting on 3 downs [unlike the ATL game with the piss-poor playcalling], and controlling the clock.  Cam needs to be on-target with his intermediate throws, and we need to get their LBs running sideline to sideline with our trio of running backs.  An off day by Cam in the air, and we could be in for a long game on both sides of the ball.  Cam doesn't have to be spectacular, though; just decent.

Plus, extra motivation for Ginn å la Tolbert against San Diego last year.

tl;dr-Headline version:  Panthers Stop SF Run; Win Tight One

Good write up.

The key will be can yall take away our rushing attack with stacking the box? Teams who can stuff our run without sacrificing coverage usually win.

The Colts were able to stack the box against us because we didn't even have VD playing. They only had to worry about Boldin and if you can double Boldin then you are golden.. Unfortunately, this is impossible to pull off when Vernon Davis is playing. Also, the addition of Manningham should also free up some big passing opportunities.

Week 1 of this season the Packers sold out on the run against us. Kap proceeded to diccect them. Kap is actually a damn good passer and has proved it on numerous occasions and on some pretty big stages. He has struggled this season mainly because he's had one WR to throw to (Boldin was penciled in as our #2 behind Crabs) and a TE. Also, Kap hasn't needed to pass much this season now that Frank Gore has go going.

Our defense if very opportunistic and i think Cam plays a little raw at times. I think he will throw an INT this game for sure. Granted, I don't see this game being a blow-out by either team.

Eh, I don't see Kaep having a good game against us. He's not a great passer. Like RG3, he needs his legs to be successful but he does have Davis and Boldin.

Hope you're right! I think the game is going to come down to Cam vs 9ers pass rush.
