We outplayed the Seahawks and they were a lucky fumble away from getting beat. That same Seahawks team whopped your ass like their 6 yo little brother.

Enough said....

Lol, ok. So what will you say after y'all lose sunday? "This can't be right?! we did better vs the seahawks than the Niners...How did they beat us!?!?!"

Stop worrying about, and basing everything off Seattle. They have nothing to do with the Panthers @ 49ers Sunday afternoon.

all that matters is how two teams matchup.....

our matchup suggests a low scoring game that comes down to which QB makes the most plays IMO.....or avoids the most mistakes.

Hey fellas, 49er fan here, about the board over there, a lot of the posters may be some **** talkers, but I think that a lot of them are just being facetious, can't take it too seriously, some of them, of course, are acting stupidly. (But some Carolina posters are also acting silly...)

My honest take on the game is that Carolina is a really strong defensive team, but with your decimated OL and the other "advantages" that a team gets from being at home, bye week, activating talented players, will be too much and we'll get the win.

In the last couple of weeks, we are going to have activated: Aldon Smith, Mario Manningham, Tank Carradine, Quinton Dial and Eric Wright to plug in as needed; they are all going to be incredibly fresh.

I get what guys are saying about the bye week not being a huge advantage, but what I can tell you right now is that this bye week could NOT have come at a better time for us. Several guys had ticky tack injuries that are going to be able to heal up 100% with that extra time off, and guys that we have recently activated will get 2 full weeks of practice time and conditioning to get up to speed. In our situation, the bye week is a huge advantage. Whether the extra game planning really means anything is a question though.

I simply don't see how your O is going to move around on our D, we had 2 bad games very early in the season that are now skewing stats for us, we are among the top Ds in the league again at this point.

At the same time, SF's O is going to have a hard time against your front 7, but I believe that with a healthy and talented OL, Kap and Gore will be able to move it modestly enough on the ground to let Vernon, Q and Mario get going.

My prediction is 21-13 Niners.

Interesting.

Predictions I do not due in an shape or form.  But from reading and watching games, I would say that neither of theses teams are outstanding on offense. If you stop Kp from running your offense stalls. Its really that simple.  As far as people being"activated, I would not expect Smith to play this weekend. With Felony weapon charges and 2 DUI's I see the NFL stepping in and handing down some suspension soon.

Yes you have a top rated defense, however, they are not the #2 defense in the league.

I see this game being a very big defensive battle with whom ever makes the most mistakes loses.

I agree with this.

However, I do not know much about the Panthers secondary. How would you say they are performing up until this point?

Yes 2 playoff contending teams beat us at 60% health. Awesome observation. I'm sure you also noticed that the score of the shehawks game was 7-3 until the 4th quarter...Oh and that the colts had the daunting task of stoping a SF offense that was without Crabtree, Manningham, VERNON DAVIS and Patrick Willis.

I don't like to make excuses but when people who didn't even watch the games point out that we got "whooped" by the Colts and shehawks it's hard not to say something.

You got whooped. Don't try to sugarcoat it. We turned you over 5 times and held Gore to 16 yards. That's called getting whooped.

60% health? Last I checked, your roster has 53, just like every other team. Did you really have 21 players sidelined with injuries, or are you just not good at math? ;)

And btw, the score was 12-3 going in the 4th quarter.

The question is whether you will have the stones to come back Monday to receive your helping of crow once we win.

My bet is you won't...you will just slink away.

Bottom line...you played two good teams and got bitch slapped by both. That us a fact. Your wins were against the same calibre of opponent as ours. We have seen as many injuries as you.

I reference Seattle because they are a common opponent. I am sure you would be throwing them around in your arguement if you had not been snacked by them.

You started out sounding like a decent fan...but, you have started moving into douche level.

They are playing better than expected. But, most of that is a result of the fantastic DL play. If we don't get pressure Sunday, they can be exposed.

Luke Kuechly > Patrick Willis

Cam Newton > Colin Kaepernick

Luke Kuecly and Navorro Bowman, draw. This is the comparison.

Ok 60% was an obvious exaggeration. I'm not really about to calculate our injury percentage.

Still, 12-3 going into the 4th is hardly getting whooped. Y'all beat us fair and square but i know when we meet again its going to be painful for the seahawks. 49er fans including myself have a laundry list of reasons why the seahawks "whooped" us our past two meetings but all that matters in the end is the W so i won't bore you with those any more. I will say this though, the seahawks look like they might have peaked too early and are now plataeuing. Maybe Harvin will respark yalls offense but squeaking by pretty bad teams is not a good sign for things to come.

But i digress. We are on the Panthers board and out of respect to them we shouldn't carry our rivarly onto their board lol.
