The Panthers are turning to a familiar figure to help fill their offensive line void following injuries to guards Chris Scott andJeff Byers in Sunday's win against Atlanta.

Veteran guard/center Geoff Hangartner is scheduled to fly to Charlotte on Tuesday to take a physical with the Panthers, a source close to Hangartner said Monday.

If Hangartner passes the physical, he'll sign with the team.

Saw that coming...at least he knows the offense.  I actually liked him and was surprised when they cut him.
