O-line scares me

Why would you bring back Hangartner? Id rather have a nationwide search for beastly gigantic men.. screw opening holes, just dont let anyone past you.   I am fully confident that our defense can get us to the playoffs,  Im severly lacking in my beleif that the Offesnse can win us a championship.    Im proud of the team, but being  a realist, im much more looking forward to next season.

Does anyone know of any top flight free agents?  or do you have a 6'7" 360lb buddy we could get an interview? lol

There's a reason there are millions of big fat people who aren't playing in the NFL.

It concerns me as well. But we must play the cards we were dealt. I just hope our tackles don't need too much help because we will need our backs to pick up the blitz.

Hangartner knows this offense and he's less likely to make mental mistakes. There is much more to being an offensive linemen than being fat, Chris Scott is fat and he's terrible.

Wouldnt it be funny if Fua turned out to be a great O-lineman? lol

Hangartner was brought back as insurance for Kalil.  Byers was the backup center and if Kalil went down for the year, there was no one to back him up who knew the playbook.  Center is the second most cerebral position on offense behind QB and whoever the center is needs to be in sync with the QB.  Hangartner makes sense, but let's just hope Kalil stays healthy...

It amazes me that we've had as many injuries as we've had at the guard position, and yet our line just keeps on a chugging.

John Matsko gets my respect for getting these guys coached up every week.

I'm glad piggy is back. It's good to have a good backup.

Gettleman has got this, he only cut Hangartner originally to save a few pennies, we're good bros.

No! Hangartner is the Fua of the Oline. Yes, he's that bad.

Isn't Fokerts on the roster?

Good point though--Hangartner knows the system and is interchangeable.

This is like a high school reuinion--all the gang is getting back together.

Yea Folkerts is a guy they brought up from the practice squad.  Guess they aren't comfortable with him because they've got Fua practicing on the O-Line and brought back Hangartner.  There has to be a better FA O-Lineman on the market than moving perennial disappointment Fua to the O-Line.
