DRAFT SPECULATION/NEWS THREAD

So the Bobcats would select an offensively-limited, defensive-specialist SF? I'm pretty sure they already have the best one of those in the NBA right now in MKG. Why get another? Talk about a terrible mock draft. And that's why I don't pay attention to BleacherReport.

I'd take Jabari over Wiggins ALL DAY...

I'm starting to lean that way as well.

I've seen multiple mock drafts that have us taking Mario Hezojna with the 17th pick.

Hezojna is an interesting player because he has a unique leaping ability for a Euro player and is probably one of the best draft eligible players at attacking the rim. His outshot looks fluid as well and tends to unload from way past the Euro three point line.

Hezojna has been classified as the typical hit or miss player, but if you hit... He will be Manu Ginobli with hops...

CBS Sports has us taking Mario Hezojna at #17 and Alex Poythress at #29.

That draft could be huge because both players are hit or miss.

Would not mind Hezojna, he's got a ton of upside. He's a hit or bust kind of pick, but with his range and athleticism it's more hit then bust.

Hezojna is also very young (much like MKG was). I believe he will be 19 by the time the draft roles around.

I would have no problem drafting another 19 year old kid because it gives them tons of room to grow. We've already seen how much MKG has grown in just one year... the kid can knock down shots now (he just needs to do it on a consistent basis).

The only knock on Mario I have is that his left hand is non-existent, but give him a year and he could be a really good player.
