Patriots blow out Panthers

Lol

Teams that have beat the Pats

Bengals: 3rd in total D

NYJ: 8th in total D

Both losses coming from hard nose teams with a great D that can rush the passer, and have really good running games. On the road.

If you harass Tom Brady enough, the Pats tend to lose, something makes me think that we can harass Brady.

The recipe for drinking victory beers right there.

Fug the Kool Aid.

Did anyone see what the Patriots did to the Saints in the 4th quarter? Did anyone see what hey did to the Steelers in the 2nd half?

What did he do in the 4th against the Bengals?

The Patriots had three chances the last 5 minutes against the Saints. If we hold them to only two like the Niners we should be fine right?

I've always said you can only beat the teams on your schedule and someone has to make those teams have bad records.  All we did was what we were asked.  Anyone noticed that this patriots team is 1-2 on the road this season?  or 2 weeks ago they snuck away with a win against one of the most internally destructive teams in espn history in the Dolphins.  Or they lost to the freakin Jets.  The patriots aren't unstoppable if the Jets can beat them, we sure as hell can beat them.  Will we win?  I don't know, the game will be tight, but we won't get blown out.

I am not into predictions but if Cam/Shula come out strong, the Patriots might get blown out or at least manhandled.  I think it's important for the Patriots to get out to a lead because the D will only get stronger as the game progresses.

I did it from 1997 to 2006 when I was in the military. I didn't act like a depressed bitch when the Panthers looked like they might have some success. I watched the Super Bowl loss surrounded by fans of other teams including Patriot fans. I was stationed in Georgia when Vick would constantly beat the Panthers.

tl/dr version: quit being a fuging bitch

I was actually at the Superbowl 10 rows back....I would say 70% of the Reliant Stadium was Patriot fans

not a bitch...just realistic.

... all BS aside....thanks for your service

Dominant defense is great....but remembering that we have beaten losing teams and still thrown away 2 games in the 4th quarter this season is crucial to winning in the future.  The SF game still showed that the Panthers can and will give it away in the 4th.  Do you guys not remember SF getting the ball twice in the final 5 minutes?

Rivera has to prove he can close out games and he simply hasn't done that.

But you are calling for a blowout, not just a loss.

Explain to me how that will happen with a dominant defense that you acknowledge.

Fan = Went to every home game until 2006 when I moved....away games at the following stadiums (Houston SUPERBOWL, St. Louis PLAYOFFS, Philly PLAYOFFS, Atlanta several times, Tennessee, Tampa every year, Miami, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and I'm sure I'm forgetting somewhere)   It is easy to be a fan when you live in Carolina.  Try being a fan in another city and actually supporting your team in a hostile crowd or bar.....it does provide fans unclouded glasses though.  I no longer blindly support a coach or team when I simply know better.  Rivera has beaten poo teams.....

SF should have beaten the Panthers in the 4th quarter.  As usual the offense could not hold the ball and keep SF off the field and gave them 2 opportunities to win.  The defense is in beast mode, but you can not ask them to close out games over and over again.  Eventually coaching needs to take place.  Rivera need to learn how to close out games and SF may have been a win, but not because of coaching...it was because the defense went off and shut down SF!  Brady is not Kapernick so do not get it twisted.  If the Panthers are even in the game in the 4th quarter, which I have serious doubts after watching Pittsburgh get destroyed with their top ranked defense, then the Panthers can not hand the ball over 2 times with a 1 point lead and expect to win.

I hope the Panthers do win...but I'm not going to read all this garbage you guys are posting about playoffs. It is one game at a time and the Patriots are not looking at the playoffs right now...they are looking at the Panthers.

PS....I just renewed my marriage vows on the 8th and I wore a Panthers hat during the ceremony.

Panther fan, lived in Southern California my entire life.  Been a fan since 1995.  Don't care about how much of a fan you think you are, if you make a post claiming your team is going to get blown out on national tv when they are playing their best football in half a decade, it is just not right.

It is like being in a relationship, every thing is clicking, and you post on her facebook "I may be wrong, but the break up is coming."

Root for your team, enjoy the fun, and don't be so damn pessimistic.
