Fox007 5,758 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 Id rather him turn and look for the ball and see Lester get the INT anyway rather than bear hug a player on a team that the refs tend to love.

CelibatePimp 2,965 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 I just watched the play. By the time Luke begins to hug Gronk, the ball is already thrown and is almost in Lester's hands, so that cannot be holding. The ball was also underthrown and Gronk could not have caught it so no PI there. I don't see what people are bitching about. Watch the play yourself and see when Luke begins to hug. panthers55 5,717 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 Truth is that if Keek had turned to look at the ball and didn't have his arms wrapped around Gronk he would have seen that the ball was way underthrown and Gronk couldn't have caught it. He made a stupid play in the endzone and got away with it. But he surely shouldn't be excused or made a hero for doing it. Just sayin........................... If there is a hero in this situation, it's Lester. Without him being in position to intercept that pass, then interference would have been called and ball placed at the 1 foot line for an untimed down to win or lose the game. Cam Newton was the MVP of offense, but Lester deserves game ball for that play alone.
Cpt slay a ho 1,620 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 2nd year player shouldn't make those mistakes, he's done this a couple times this year, make the receiver make a ridiculous play. As long as he learns from this that's all that matters
