According to an article on NFL.com, Kuechly and Davis combined for 29 tackles tonight. Damn they are good. That is all.

It really is amazing to think about it... wondering how much he had left in the tank. He looked impressive, seemed to miss least tackle. On another note I'm slightly worried about Melvin White.

Melvin will be fine. The first 2 calls against him seemed kind of ticky-tac to me, especially watching Talib mug Smitty on every play.

He never stopped fighting, never gave up a really big play. For a guy who is making a huge jump from a small school to an NFL rookie starter, he has done really well, and is only going to get better.

I'm still very proud of him, but lets keep in perspective of the school he came from.  Charles Tillman, Ike Taylor, Michael Adams, and Dwight Bentley all are current NFL DB's who played for the Cajuns, as well as Antwain Spann and CC Brown who both played in the NFL for a few seasons.  My University is small, but we have a knack for putting out top level DB talent.

That was treated as "extra-curricular activity" and that's not always penalized.
