Mother Grabber

After we beat the Taints in the Dome, RR will be above .500

You guys will be destroyed Sunday night in New Orleans! You have no chance in hell cry now. Cry to the media to switch it back to an afternoon game because you aren't beating us at home in primetime with that shitty secondary! It will be picked apart

Not going to lie. This was actually pretty cute. It reminds me of my redneck nephew. He's chuck full of dour consequences to crossing him. Him? He's 6, and its cute. That is cute you just can't buy.

Good luck with that whole, we have a defense now too, I think. It should protect you from everything, well...except maybe the weather.

Ooh ooh ooh, lest we forget. Once the game ends, and your azz has been sufficiently spanked. We get to fly out of there to clean fresh air. Your players are still stuck in sewer town. I was in Mobile, Al. last week, I swear I could still smell NO. Sad really. She was such a slick ***** in her days.

incidentally, when Breesus first entered the league he was questioned about having his mole removed.  He denied emphatically ever doing it, saying something to the effect of, "This is how God made me...."  I guess $100M changed his mind about creationism.  Either that, or it was the hookers down on Iberville St.

We've faced offenses like yours and won. You've faced defenses like ours and lost. Be scared asshole

as I see it, the only legit contenders are:

NFC: Seattle, SF, NO, Carolina

AFC: NE, Denver, (iffy on the Bengals)

We have a real, solid chance at getting to the NFCC and Superbowl....and we'll only get better.

Just to add, darkhorse in the NFC would be Green Bay, if they survive next week against a struggling Detroit team, Aaron Rodgers comes back, and they're a team that can get really hot.  I'd actually have them over SF, I don't think SF is going anywhere this year until Kaepernick gets his poo together, which I'm not even sure he'll ever be the QB people thought he was.  I'd say NFC's most likely team is Seattle, followed by Taints/Panthers almost dead even, and GB as the #4 as a darkhorse.  In the AFC, it's a 2 team race, and if anyone outside of NE or Denver make the superbowl, I'll be shocked.

My initial thought to this is that the Packers don't have enough defense to hang.  If you look at the NFC candidates, they are all ranked top 5 in scoring defense:

1. Car - 13.7ppg

2. Sea - 16.3ppg

4. SF - 16.7ppg

5. NO - 17.8ppg

18. GB - 24.1ppg, a full TD more/game than the other 4 and 10ppg more than us.

However, when you look at the AFC candidates, which we all seem to agree is a two horse race, they are:

9. NE - 20.9ppg

26(!) Den - 26.3ppg - tied with the Texans

We've thought of Denver as having an elite D this year (because we listen to the media too much), but here they sit at the bottom of the league in scoring D.  They've given up 10 rushing TDs and an astounding 21 passing TDs (we've given up 12 TDs total).

While I initially wouldn't have thought that GB was legit based on their D, they are in better shape then Denver in that category.  The Pats at least seem to be somewhat balanced with the #9 D, but Denver is clearly winning shoot outs every game (when Denver faced decent D (twice, KC and NE) they still put up 30pts).  Not quite what one would expect from Foxball, eh?  If Rodgers can get the GB offense back up to the 30ppg category, then I agree, they have to be put back into the discussion.  NFC is stacked!

I agree, but we've seen over the past few years that a team with a so-so defense, but a stud QB can get hot in the playoffs and make up for their defensive deficiencies.  Rodgers and Eli Manning both did it recently and thats why I consider them dangerous as a dark horse.  I'm in no way scared of anything the East will send or Chicago or Detroit, but GB poses a threat of a League and Superbowl MVP making them very dangerous.  My hope was that by this point, they'd be out of the hunt for the division and/or wildcard, but Detroit and Chicago have essentially collapsed.  If they win the game thursday, they become a dangerous team.  With that said, I still think the panthers, Saints, and Seahawks are the more likely candidates because of the combination of dynamic QB's plus good defenses.

Could you imagine what the superbowl lead up would be like should we face NE.  The news would be split between it being a rematch from 10 years ago and the keuchly end of the game call/non-call.

since we're talking about teams getting players back, the 49ers activated Crabtree.  If we see an increase in offensive production from them, they are serious threat to repeat as the NFC representative in the Uperowl.

We are now 22-22 all time, all tied up with the Taints, and ready to roll.  With the Taints getting dismantled last night, they will be fired up so we know we'll get their best.

Seattle's D was tailor made to shut down pass happy teams like Denver and NO.  We don't have close to the secondary they have, so we can't assume we will get off quite as easily.  Our secondary is, however, 2nd in the league for giving up points, so I'm not too worried.  The Seahawks got plenty of push up front, and we have a better front 7 than they do.

I was shocked at how easily the Seahawks moved the ball through the air.  They didn't run too well, but took apart the Taints D with their passing attack.  Teams have been trying to make Cam beat them with his arm all year, and he's been doing just that.  Go ahead, Rob, put 8 in the box and a spy on Cam.  Dare him to beat you with his arm.  He will, just like he has to everyone else who's tried that all year.

While I don't think we destroy the Taints quite as easily as Seattle did, I still think we win out and take 2nd place in the NFC.  Next Monday, Cam and Ron will be above .500 over all and one their way to the playoffs!
