Some of you know about the "Panther" Carl saga on local radio. This guy calls in and puts down the Panthers all the time, says he going to sell his tickets. Last week the station was tipped that he's really a Falcons troll and they challenged him to Panther trivia. He got 1 of 10 questions right and was shamed off the radio. The trivia is kind of fun and I thought the Huddle might enjoy playing.

1. Who was the radio play by play man for the Panthers in their Super Bowl season?

Spoiler

2. Who had the 1 yard touchdown run vs. Philly in the 2003 NFC Championship game (he broke a ton of tackles)?

Spoiler

3. Who served as Panthers GM before Marty Hurney?

Spoiler

4. Who was the first Panther draft pick ever?

Spoiler

5. Who did Jake Delhomme hit for the game winning touchdown in the season opener of the 2008 season vs. San Diego?

Spoiler

6. Who was the Jets QB that threw a pick 6 to Sam Mills in the first win in franchise History?

Spoiler

7. Who was the only Panther QB other than Cam to throw for over 400 yards in a game?

Spoiler

8. In what seasons did the Carolina Panthers finish with a 12-4 record?

Spoiler

9. Who is the Panthers all time leading Rusher?

Spoiler

10. Who was the leading rusher in the innagural season for the Panthers? (1995)

Spoiler

I personally got #7 and #10 wrong.

Yeah I always feel cheated when they ask a 70s pop culture question on a random trivia game show.

I'll give myself 4 1/2 (missed 96 and got 08 for question 8) and call that a pass for an Australian Panthers fan who started following in 2001 or so.

I missed #6 &#10. I knew it was a Sam Mills pick6 against the Jets but couldn't remember Bubby Brister.

Missed #6 and #10. Am I the only person feeling nostalgic seeing that Sam Mills taped nose pic and thinking of how lights out Thomas Davis has been this year?

Yeah asking who the QB was in the Jets game is stupid trivia...

Now asking who we played when Sam Mills intercepted the ball and returned it for a touchdown leading to our first win....thats a trivia question....not fuging bubby brister

I missed 3,6,7,10.  I have officially blanked the entire George Seifert era out of my brain.  I refuse to acknowledge that it was a thing.  Bubby Brister is about as noteworthy as the Seifert era.  This includes Weinke and his 400 yard game.  I immediately thought of Buerline.

BTW: Been a long long long time since I've heard the name Derrick Moore. (I was 12)
