Open the tournament with a 68-61 win against Kansas State.

Georgetown shat the bed against Northeastern and lost, so now we play Northeastern in the semi-finals tomorrow at 2:30 PM. Game will be on ESPN2.

Charlotte advances past Northeastern and will play the winner of FSU/Michigan on Sunday.

Hoping for Michigan since we already play FSU later in the season.

Michigan is ranked 14. Are we gonna get killed? I say yes.

If we stay out of foul trouble I think we can keep it respectable. We have a good starting 5 (ehh 4, with Cherry being fine if he's hitting 3's), one superb player coming off the bench, and a solid backup in Denzel Ingram.

If either of our bigs get in foul trouble we are screwed though.

I don't think we'll win, but I like this matchup wayyyyyyyyyyyy more than FSU. FSU is huge and really athletic Michigan relies more on their shooting and shooting teams have cold days sometimes. Who knows, maybe tomorrow will be that day.

We already play FSU later in the year anyway.

woooooooooooooooooooooo.

Partied in Belfast Mill with about 25 other fans during the game. Great time. Great win.

This is exactly why I preferred playing UM. Great shooting teams even have bad shooting nights. Michigan doesn't have much of an inside game, so we out rebounded them and controlled the flow of the game.

Honestly, we should have won that game by 15 or more. We just have very poor stretches on offense where we can't score.

charlotte got 35 points last week in the AP top 25 vote.  They won't play again for a few days, but you have to think a few more wins gets us ranked.

    • Hey @E CaT PanTHer 2. For someone that kind of consistently makes strange remarks about black people, and also proudly voted for and supported Donald Trump, you sure don't seem to mind appropriating black culture when it serves you best.
    • I heard something the other day that made perfect sense to me. I was obviously aware of the Austin craze a few years back when interest began peaking and the real estate market began a recovery long before the rest of the country. Someone said, "Austin is outgrowing Austin." Remember Charlotte in 1990 and what happened over the next 20 years? Very comparable and many of the same issues associate with such rapid economic growth, development and population: real estate, infrastructure (traffic), employment competition, etc.
