The remake hits select theaters this Wednesday. Solid cast of course it probably won’t be as good as the original. This movie still has one of craziest endings I’ve seen in film

I think this one has potential too. The original was a classic but keep in mind this film will be alot more faithful to the source material than the original. So there's that, I guess.

As far as remakes which I usually always give a kneejerk dismissal...this does look like it will be pretty true to the original.

As far as other good remakes:

The "Let the Right One" remake was decent..I dismissed it immediately but watched it and thought outside of a few over CGI'ed moments in the US version it was really well cast and done.

"Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" was pretty faithful too.

David Fincher is a dark director anyway.

In the right hands It can be done well.

If we don't get to see Elizabeth Olsen's tits I'm giving it 1 star regardless
