[confirmed] Panthers at Saints is being flexed

Best Answer KendrickPanther, 24 November 2013 - 07:55 PM

Personally I think it's a bad thing because the home crowd will be more fired up for a night game. Still, it's a treat for us as fans.

From @LarryHolder Saints beat writer

Love to see the team on SNF in a meaningful game for the first time since Panthers/Giants '08, but the Saints at home in primetime are very, very tough.

Yes the game will be on Sunday Night Football. Apparently Seahawks/49ers is protected or can't be flexed for whatever reason.

I don't think that game is going to go well for us. But we will pay them back on 12/22.

I'm told with Carolina's win today, look for Saints-Panthers game in Week 14 to be flexed to Sunday night on NBC.

Fox gets to protect one game which is why they are wanting to keep the 49ers/Seahawks game....

No idea why Fox wouldn't want to keep what could be one of the biggest games of the year in the Panthers/Saints game.

We've won 7 in a row. We COULD lose to the Saints, but I'm no longer afraid of any team anywhere. We can definitely beat them too.

And I think we will too.
