Really?  Would you volunteer to trade spots with Rich Franklin here?

OK friends.  A comedian in the 70's used to do a bit about being a football player and not drinking out of his cup and how it was "physically impossible" to be hurt while wearing a cup.  I find it hard to believe that any of you would ever take anything I say seriously, much less a comment like this.

Next time I will attach the following disclaimer.

<WARNING:  SARCASM AHEAD!>

Carry on.

I'm not so sure you have ever worn one.

It is very possible, especially when being kicked like that. Your junk bangs against the cup and it hurts like a mofo.

Please see the above.

It is physically impossible to be hurt if you are wearing a cup.

Guess you have never actually played football or any other sport that requires a cup

I watched it a few times and I'm 50/50 on whether it was intentional.

The lineman kind of pushes him back and he may have been raising his leg up to keep his balance... but he could certainly have done it intentionally.

ESPN should do a sport science segment on how much force took to break RG3's hyman.
