No offense to the OP, but I'd feel better about this thread if the title didn't sound like a line from a Harlequin romance

I think some peopleon here are just bandwagon Cam fans that want him to have 5000 yards passing and 1000 yards rushing and 60 total TDs like this is Madden.

Just bought a Newton jersey at 15% off. It's the first Panthers QB jersey I've had since 1996 with Kerry Collins. It's nice to finally have a QB where you don't have to constantly pray that he doesn't fug things up.

If Cam is putting up 5000 yds passing and 1000 yds on the ground along with 60 TDS, I am pretty sure we will be winning games.

With the defense that we have we would be 16-0 and on our way to the superbowl

Do you realize how good those stats are especially if he is throwing less than 20 ints with a 95+ qb rating????

That is god mode, absolute soul stealing of NFL teams.

It is Auburn circa 2010-2011 again, maybe even more dominant

That is HOF stats

A semi ball control offense to eat up  the clock and keep the other teams offense off the field is working. The good front shut down seven, really compliments this type approach. The result is  a present  8-3 record

    • What separates this mock draft is that The Observer asked other team's newspaper insiders for their opinion. 1. Cleveland Browns The pick: Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett (Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland Plain Dealer) Browns’ needs: Edge rusher, quarterback, safety. Insider knowledge: Cabot calls Garrett the best player who can make an immediate impact, “whereas the quarterbacks are going to take some time.” The Browns will continue to scout Mitch Trubisky, Deshaun Watson and DeShone Kizer, although Cabot believes Cleveland will be able to get one of those QBs when the Browns pick again at No. 12. People’s choice: Given Cleveland’s dark quarterback history, Browns fans seem fine the idea of taking Garrett with the No. 1 overall pick. 2. San Francisco 49ers The pick: Stanford DE Solomon Thomas (Eric Branch, San Francisco Chronicle) 49ers’ needs: Quarterback, wide receiver, edge rusher. Insider knowledge: As much as first-year coach Kyle Shanahan would like to get rolling with a franchise QB, Branch expects Shanahan to use Brian Hoyer as a place-holder until 2018, when the Niners can go after Kirk Cousins or choose from a deeper QB group. In the meantime, Branch sees new GM John Lynch going defense in his first draft by taking an elite pass-rusher from the Bay area. People’s choice: Some Niners’ fans seem infatuated with the prospect of taking a skilled-position player such as Fournette or Clemson WR Mike Williams.
