What Saints Fans are Saying

First, so quickly the forget Bounty-gate, no mention of it in the post replied to.

Second, I have to agree with Luke being the smartest player on the field but had to leave out probably. Watching his play adjustments versus NE was like a chess match. You don't lead the league in tackles as a rookie without having a high level of defensive aptitude and understanding and breaking down mentally where the offensive players are going.

they don't believe in bounty gate, they think it's a conspiracy... because, you know... they believe they are actual Saints.

what model for success has that as a blueprint?  Saints are still the same thing today.....dome is there only hope

yea i recall a few guys saying that we are new to success and dont know how to handle it, but saying that kinda means they feel they have been winning for quite some time.  Even The Fat said something here like they have been great the last seven years, but the truth is they were less than average three of those years.  And well, before that, we all know what the Saints really were:

Based on what?

Skin-tone. Percieved intelligence and skin tone are directly correlated. White QBs are super intelligent pocket-passers. The darker the skin gets, the more athletic the QB is and the less intelligent. Cam is clearly darker than Russell; therefore, less intelligent. He does pick up a +2 for speed, +3 agility, and has a higher success rate at stealing and picking locks.

Is this sarcasm or a bad joke?

The beginning is neither sarcasm or a joke; it is what is potrayed by the media.  The end is an ironic joke poking fun at that mindset.

Now I'm no grammar Nazi, but I'm 95% sure that this sentence is, in fact, grammatically incorrect.

Now I'm no grammar Nazi, but I'm 95% sure that "I'm assuming that you proof-read texts and e-mails before you send them" is, in fact, not a question.

Now I'm no grammar Nazi, but I'm 95% sure that a comma should be inserted between "intelligent" and "but."

All of these "errors" that you have found are in fact not errors at all.

While the first two examples that you cited might not be perfect grammar, they are the result of my embrace of dramatic license with my writing. Note that the meaning is not lost, but emphasized in both of the examples you quoted.

In third exampled that you cited, a comma is actually not required before a conjunction due to the second half of the sentence being a dependent clause.

And finally, the fourth example you quoted does not require a comma. It is optional, however.

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. I'm glad that there are other posters with a solid grasp of the English language on this board.
