I read a couple of the topics over there and most of them sounded pretty realistic about the possibilities of Carolina coming in and mopping up. The realists far outnumber the blind homers.

Saw the same thing.  Many posters are saying that we are and should be licking our chops to get a hold of the Saints this week.  And that nothing they saw on Monday night should make anyone worried about playing the Saints.

The Saints are weak mentality and are going to have a short week. Not only that but we are actually as healthy as we are going to get on for this game. We have played harder games this season and faced better teams. If we ever expect to win in Seattle we need to win this game.

I think @ NO is the toughest game on our schedule. Not by a large margin but I put that slightly ahead of SF.

Saints are two different teams. The tough one plays at the dome

I agree with you.

I would feel great about this game if it were here....and I wish we had the first matchup here.

Saints in the dome are one of the toughest teams to play....we will need our A game.

So is SF and you have to deal with the wind. I don't think it will be a cake walk but your talking about intangibles and right now in the minds of our players its the biggest game all year, a playoff game.

We should change the name of the forum to "Welovebooks" just to keep Saint fans away.

Your response is hilarious! Based on those Saints quotes I think it would work. Those have to be the dumbest quotes I have ever read.

Three ways to handle Brees,  jam receivers at the line, put him on his back and ball control.

Do those things and Saints are beatable.

The Dome thing is psychological, just like playing outside is psychological.

Their defense is not concerning; but, Cam can't have any lazy throws, he will need to be perfect, and that is the one big difference between him and Russell Wilson.  Sometimes Cam's athleticism is the windshield and sometimes its the bug. It needs to be more windshield come Sunday night.

Tell you the truth, of all the over hyped teams, the Saints are one of them.  Every time I've watched them on Sunday ticket, just was not impressed.

Really a shame Panthers screwed up in Arizona.

The Saints are a carbon copy of the Seahawks ......lol get the fug outta here

Russell Wilson is really really good but he isn't as good as Drew Bree's just yet. In every other position outside of tight end Seattle is better. Brees missed several open receivers because of the pressure that Seattle had on the Saints.

Our front 7 is better than Seattle. Most Seattle fans will tell you that. I do have concerns with our secondary but I am confident we will put the best players out there so we can compete. I think we will need mobile Cam to be effective in The dome but I like our chances.

Dayton Florence should start, and so should Captain, but Captain should be lined up inside.

Man I can't wait for the next 4 weeks.

Exactly!!! Your post hit it on the head. New Orleans defense runs to the ball and they play aggressive but they aren't that talented. They miss tackles and over run plays.

I worry about pressing Brees' WRs.....bad QBs have taken advantage of us doing that on the outside

I dont know what was more delusional. Saying Cam is anything other than this team's MVP, or the notion that new orleans is anything like Seattle.

at least after the humbling loss last night some of those knuckleheads are at least acknowledging we are built to beat them and are capable of doing what seattle did last night.  before the smashing by the Seahawks, they didnt give us a chance.

Cam can't pass, he chews gum, he is immature, he can't lead, he is a me first guy, they havent played an offense like the saints yet(lol) etc...

i honestly can't recall ever seeing another fanbase so consistently and overwhelmingly make factually wrong, idiotic comments. It's truly astounding how delusional they are.

The thing I was confused or wondered about was NO kepy running almost 6-7 dbs on 3rd and 5 etc. Why do that when they have Wilson and lynch that can run as well as throw. I hope they run that sub package against us because I feel confident even with our O line with a 3 man rush and cam

Fans don't wanna hear it but this game is going to come down to Cam shredding The Taints D. Call me a doubter, I don't care, but our boys in the secondary haven't proved enough in my eyes to ravish them with trust and praise. If there were a game this year where our secondary proved the world wrong, it'd be this one. They still feel disrespected. Okay. Pick Brees off 4x and/or limit him to 2 TDs. Our front seven isn't going to be able to maul Brees every time he drops back.

This isn't Tampa or Miami. If you give these WRs and TEs an inch, Brees will burn you. So here we go boys, who wants to be rise to the challenge? I know Mitchell is ready to go.
