Heath Evans says the Saints going to put up 40.

Recommended Posts

Nothing implied.

Substitute Saints/Payton/Brees for Capone

Could be offensive to some...

NFL Network is a joke just like ESPN. They have Darren Sharper and Heath Evans giving their opinions about Saints games at the SAME TIME as if they'll give a neutral opinion

Little old ass Brees is going to put 40 on the best defense we're ever had? The same Brees who has lost his arm strength and was under throwing his receivers all night against Seattle? Same Brees who didn't even see open receivers down field because he wasn't making his reads? fug no that's not happening. Not even close.

lol I knew this would be on the Huddle. What the OP fails to mention is that all of the other panel members dissed Evans about thinking the Panthers are the same team with their defense as last year and about the Saints putting up 40 on Sunday (saying they are embarrassed and angry, not that the Panthers can't match them). McGinness was our most active supporter. What I don't remember is Evans saying with certainty that 40 points was going to win the game for the Saints.

They did question if our secondary would be fully up to the task of stopping the Saints receivers; they just didn't know, didn't make any statements yeah or nay. And that Ryan & his defense have the toughest task of stopping Cam & our offense.

What they did not do was list "home field" as a Saints advantage. lol

Am I the only one who hates the way Heath Evans speaks? Forget the babbage he intends... I'm talking about the way he delievers the words. It sounds like he's trying to juggle pudding from one cheek to the other.

40 what? Rushing yards? Surely not points... Because he's right, we're going to give up roughly a fourth of the total points we've allowed through 13 weeks in one game. The biggest game of the year. Right.

Glad he's not biased or anything.

I think it's actually worse. The large market bias is far more evident. It's more like a tabloid than an analytical football channel.

This Panther team is doubted every week...this week is no different and even the second game will be the " The Panthers need to show me they can always win and never lose"

Even after the Super Bowl win..Cam needs to show me that he can lead a team to 2 consecutive Super Bowls before I give him any credit...he has only recently changed his attitude.

LOL The min Cam and the Panthers win the SB for the first time ever. You will be riding Cam stick so hard and will be giving him all kinds of credit. Now admit that. We will all be doing that the min Cam and this Panther team wins the big one.

P.S. Screw Evans. The guy is a former Saints player. What do you expect him to so. He is supporting his old team. Might sound stupid and all. But the guy has a right to his own opinion. But his opinion is more fantasy then reality.
