Agreed on ProAm

But I see Roy changing up the offense a little this season

Last season Ellingtons & Lawsons outside shooting were needed

This season with all the talent and depth inside Roy needs to score inside more

C - Zeller > D Wear

F- Thompson> T Wear

F- Davis > J Henson

G-Ginyard > Strickland

G-Drew > Mc Donald

Graves for situational 3's

Thompson & Davis should carry the team

Drew just needs to controll the tempo and get the ball to the right players .

Roy could and should run the blue team concept

Sub out the starters and give the freshmen 2 minutes at a time to increase experience .

This will pay off big time in tourney

Yes they lost 4 great players

But this team is loaded with talent and if everone gets playing time ,they could GEL late in season

This team will probably win 27+ games this year. If they get into the FF, they have as good a shot as any.

I'm worried about Drew. Im sure he will improve from last year to this year, but it will have to be a big improvement for this to team to go far in the tourny. He reminded me alot of Quentin Thomas last year. Just too timid. It doesn't matter how much talent there is inside, without a capable pg a team will not perform great on offense or defense. IMHO, we will see how spoiled we have been with felton and lawson running the show for the last 6 years after this season. I see Ginyard or one of the frosh being the main ball handler by the end of the year.

Wow...Really? I didn't see Drew that way at all...He started strong, got shaky in the middle, then had a strong showing late - particularly with Lawson out. He only averaged 10 minutes a game behind Lawson (who was pretty good) and played almost every game during the season. Kids usually make the biggest leap from freshman to sophomore year. I suspect he will make a leap.

I think Drew is much better then QT as a Freshman, but it would not surprise me if he doesn't stay consistent Williams gives Strickland more playing time.

I think he's going to be a very good PG next year. He is quick and a good defender. He has a much better IQ and handle than QT already. His assist to TO ratio was very good.

Drew did not impress me last year. Hopefully he can turn that around with more playing time...

If we compare Drew to Lawson or Felton ,I'm not sure he will ever reach it .

If Drew can bring the ball up ,make smart decisions with the ball ,few turnovers ,and play defense .

I'm fine

Strickland would be a shot in the arm coming off the bench while honing his skills to the college game .

Then come tournement time let the best man play the most minutes

Drew can pass the ball like Pistol Pete, but his shot is terrible.

David/ Travis Wear- I like both of them because they can both shoot the three and both of them are impressive ball handlers for their size. They also run the floor like guards.

Dexter Strickland- I pormise he will be the next Ty Lawson, he plays exactly like Lawson except for the fact that Strickland plays shooting guard.

Leslie McDonald- reminds me of Raymond Felton with his ability to see one play ahead.

John Henson- A combination of Marvin Williams, Ed Davis, and Deon Thompson He is simply amazing and he will score a lot of points.

It's going to be a fun year and who knows what happens come march...I will say that the Heels will have no bullseye and can run that talent up and down the court to see how it plays out.
