Curious... how did the Saints O line grade out in the 12 games prior to last night? iow, are they pretty good, or did they just play us well?

Dunno about the rest of the line, but I believe their RT is graded as the best RT in the league...could be wrong

I don't know but Brees had all day to hop around in the pocket like a baby rabbit.   A baby rabbit with a mole on his face.

Oh absolutely... on some plays I literally wondered where our D line disappeared to... Brees could have taken a shower, shaved and drank some coffee before he threw the ball.

Jesus.  Also, 3 worst graded players in the game were Bell, Hardy, and Johnson.

Not surprising in the least.  Bell got whipped like a rented mule all night and our pass rush was nonexistent.

Good news is, Gettleman was most definitely in the building and saw how bad it was first hand.

No way Bell is not replaced next season.

On the opposite edge we’ll find the more high-profile clash, as Johnson, with the third-highest Pass-Rushing Productivity of any 4-3 defensive end, will battle Zach Strief, who owns the highest pass blocking grade of any right tackle.

Correction: Best pass blocking RT

We were giving average QB's too much time throughout the season. Last nights result cannot come as a shock, unfortunately.

Is this really news to anyone?

I know, right.  I totally kept count of the number of QB disruptions charged to individuals and how many of those were charged to Bell.  Some of these fans aren't even trying.

that is outrageous.

kick Chandler out and let Hangartner and Scott work at OG. it's worth exploring.

Think maybe Johnson wasn't ready to come back yet. I didn't even see him near the QB. Unsure what the excuse for Hardy is. He should've dominated Charles Brown. They better get this straight before we play in Charlotte.

Hardy was double teamed and Brees got rid of the ball quick.

There is no reason at all that he should still be starting

Wait...weren't we just told yesterday by one of our illustrious members that all the sacks were Cam's fault?

Maybe PFF should check with the Huddle first before they assign blame for failures on plays.

The problem is we still overly rely on our DE's for pressure. Star isn't ( yet) good at it and niether is cole. Edwards and Short show flashes but aren't consistent. Hardy and Johnson are very good, but neither are at that elite level where they can consistently take over a game ,always be accountable for and beat double teams. Hopefully Star and Short keep making major strides and give us strong consistent interior pressure.

Isn't johnson being paid elite money? And hardy I'm sure is gonna be gunning for elite money next year.

They're elite DEs.  The Saints just worked us.  They game planned the hell out of us and did a great job nullifying our strengths and attacking our weaknesses.
