Legal? Yes.

Dirty? You make the call.

Clearly Stewart was heading out of bounds.

A WHOLE PIE!

You don't collect the bounty by letting the man get to the sideline.

Yeah, a hit at waist level & a wrap up would've forced him out & kept him from bouncing back in.

He was inbounds. Would you hit Stewart high?

In today's NFL, all DBs are hitting low.  I don't think it was a dirty hit.  Just the unfortunate reality of the rules.  You can never assume that someone is going to go out of bounds, that's a one way ticket to getting burned and benched.

Straight to his knee?

Yeah, it happens all the time.

Usually if you want a player to stop moving forward, you hit them in the legs.

Stewart was lowering his shoulder you either get trucked or hit him low. With Stewart lowering, that was the only place to hit him without hitting him head to head.

It's legal. It's also a wimpy play. All you have to do is knock him out of bounds. Hit him in the torso like a man.

Won't end his career if it's only the MCL.
