From UNC AD Bubba Cunningham:

According to UNC AD Bubba Cunningham, PJ Hairston's case with the NCAA will be resolved "at the end of the week:"

"The University of North Carolina is working with P.J. Hairston and his family to settle a few unresolved issues that remain," UNC AD Bubba Cunningham said in a statement. "We expect to have this matter resolved at the end of this week."

Hairston has been indefinitely suspended since the summer, missing the team's first 10 games of the season.

News could drop any minute now. Regardless of what happens, will be glad when this BS is over. Nobody is above the team.

UNC needs to hit their free throws more than they need Hairston.

Gotta love this tweet by the DOOKIE Seth Davis. Moron.

Regardless of whether PJ Hairston plays again for UNC he has shown himself to be reckless and unappreciative of the great privilege.

I'm a huge Heels fan but honestly I couldn't agree with this statement any more.  He completely blew an opportunity that most kids only dream of.  And for what?  PJ is the moron.

I hope he has learned something here and he stops acting like such a thug.

All that being said....I'd love to see the kid in a Hornets jersey next season since we're going to be picking in that range where he may go.  Again, only if he's learned from this crap.

Why are Duke & NC State fans so obsessed with UNC?

That was a rhetorical question, BTW.

touchdown dumb as always. Duke guy calls playing for UNC a honor and privilege and he thinks that's stupid. LOL.

Also, hahahaaha he's done. Guess you should have been honest kid.

The NCAA title is prob out of reach, but the ACC is certainly there for the taking. UNC  needs to hit their free throws more than they needed Hairston back.

The UNC hate is a habitual thing with Feinstein, Davis, Williams. Don't see it from Bilas. Those three (among others) gotta get their shot in. It's how it is when you're dealing with an intense rivalry. Look at this thread for example. The UNC haters/dookies which have been MIA in this sub forum lately (wonder why?) decide to stick their heads up from a hole and get a jab in when they can. I don't hate you for it. It's just how it is and who you are!

GO HEELS (and ecu).

It does when you "report" it within seconds of the news release.

Within seconds? The report came out at 12:30 and I put it on here at 1:14 so I guess it took 2,640 seconds.

Ok, now that the decision has been announced, I'll share my feelings...

I whole heartedly feel that PJ brought this on himself...  Not with one single incident, but with the combination of the multiple incidents...  I believe that UNC is making the right choice here, based on the current situation and the rules currently in place...

That said...

The NCAA as a governing body is perhaps the most hypocritical, self-serving, pitiful excuse for an organization that I have ever seen...  For Manziel to thumb his nose at the institution repeatedly, and receive 30 minutes of punishment, a judgment delivered inside of a week, is a joke...  The NCAA repeatedly picks and chooses which justice best fits their individual interests...  In my mind, I have no doubt whatsoever that if Hairston were a top selling jersey, or a superstar that fills arenas, his punishment would not only have been light, it would have been decided months ago...  Leave it to the NCAA to focus on the vile sins of a young man driving an unauthorized rental car, while turning a blind eye to the lesser evil of toting guns and drugs...  "The NCAA:  Taking pride in developing today's youth for tomorrow (as long as it's in our best interest)"

Played a few pickup games with PJ, while attending A&T and he was in Greensboro.  Sad to hear this, but he'll bounce back and be ok.  He's a good dude, so I still hope he gets a shot in the NBA.  He just made a couple of stupid mistakes.  I root for guys like him, Keenan Allen, and Eric Ebron due to them being some local 336 area guys.
