Latest Forecast - Drenching Rain at Kickoff

Best Answer rayzor, 22 December 2013 - 07:03 PM

10 pages late. Rain won't effect the Saints the way we'd want it to. It'll affect both squads evenly. Luckily they play bad on the road to begin with. And no, if it's pouring it will not be packed. Non-fans will be inside. Sad.

The truth hurts? I sat in the Club Seats for seven years. Trust me. It was a ghost town during bad weather. But hey, I got to put my feet up in the empty seat in front of me.

so pretty much....

Looks like the rain starts in the am and won't stop until after 2:30.

Advantage - Panthers.

I'd rather stay dry and have the Panthers beat them straight up on a nice day

I hope they've been practicing with a wet ball.

One of the best photos you ever took was in the rain at a football game.

Course, I think it was of a cheerleader.

I mentioned the other day that that weather being nasty would indeed detract from the laser precision passing we saw in the dome, so bring it on.

Rain obviously favors the Panthers since it slows down the Saints receivers.

A WHOLE PIE!

And shrinks them down so Munnerlyn can have a chance.

If it's DRENCHING, it turns into a crapshoot. Drenching means every single player on the field is vulnerable to slipping. It could hurt the receivers sure, but it could also mean Munnerlyn or Kuechly slips when trying to make a tackle and Sproles goes for a long touchdown.

But here's a good stat: Cam Newton has never lost since high school when it rains at a game.

Figure that TE's will play a big role on both sides.

Also, our bowling ball of a RB could have a key day
