Latest Forecast - Drenching Rain at Kickoff

Best Answer rayzor, 22 December 2013 - 07:03 PM

10 pages late. Rain won't effect the Saints the way we'd want it to. It'll affect both squads evenly. Luckily they play bad on the road to begin with. And no, if it's pouring it will not be packed. Non-fans will be inside. Sad.

The truth hurts? I sat in the Club Seats for seven years. Trust me. It was a ghost town during bad weather. But hey, I got to put my feet up in the empty seat in front of me.

so pretty much....

I think we are underestimating the Saints. It's not like they will melt.

Unbelievable, if you cant see we are a team of destiny this year, you are blind. I mean you cant draw it up any more perfect. The Saints lose to the lowly Rams and are now even with the Panthers, who they have to now play in Charlotte for the division and now with rain and cold against quite possibly the worst outdoor team the Saints. I love Iit, bright and sunny in Charlotte every home game this season except this one. Destiny I tell ya, DESTINY!

What the fug do I wear? 70 is pretty warm for me this time of year but the rain makes it difficult to decide on what to wear for the game. I don't want my jersey getting soaked.

True but I currently only have access to what is in my suitcase and a waterproof light jacket isn't something I have at the moment. I'll check out the team store today and maybe they have something.

Hell I thought a gametime downpour was positive. I am hoping for it! Saints have 0 chance of winning in the rain.

Plus, they are already bad on the road. No way they don't pull over and put on the blinkers til the rain goes away. Cam running would be a factor for sure in that, he is already slippery when tryn to tackle.

I'm hoping that when Sean Payton goes to stand behind Brees,  on the field, with an umbrella,  to protect him from the rain,   that Brees trips over him a couple of times.

Seriously are some of you girls afraid of water? I'm more than happy with a monsoon on Sunday if that gives us a competitive advantage....

At the height of the deluge during the Jacksonville game a couple of years ago, they connected on a long pass and YAC IIRC to score a TD right before the half and take momentum from us.
