Best Home field Advantage. Wow.

59 posts in this topic

Thread title implies the Panthers have the best homefield advantage when the article says they have the 31st. Article is interesting, title is terrible as are 90% of Huddle thread titles that's all I was saying.

The title only implies that the Panthers have the number 1 home field advantage if you are an idiot.

The purpose of the article is NFL's best home field advantage. That is what the title of my thread implies.

I can't help you read it as, "Panthers are the best homefield team everz"

No surprise here, considering most of our home games in the 2000's have basically been neutral site.

ETA: "Worst homefield advantage" would have been a better thread title, but I'm also not sure why it's deserving of almost a full page of debate.

"Wow" implies a surprise. An article saying Seattle has the #1 homefield is not a surprise. An article putting the Panthers at #1 or near #1 WOULD be a surprise. Hence why I expected an article about the Panthers surprisingly having the best homefield advantage for some reason. Ergo....your thread title failed.

The surprise is that we are DFL.

If that was your point, you should have substituted the word "best" for "worst".

Have a ho ho ho Merry Christmas PantherBrew!!

Mod's please edit title to make it more understandable for huddlers.

"THIS ARTICLE SAYS THE SEAHAWKS HAVE THE BEST HOMEFIELD EVER AND THE PANTHERS HOME FIELD SUCKS! WINE AND CHEESE CHECK IT OUT BROS!!!!!".

I truly didn't mean to mislead internet people.

    • So we have already picked up Kelvin's fifth year option.  If I gaze into my crystal ball this is what I see happening. This upcoming season (year four) for Kelvin, will be a somewhat of a disappointment, same for Funchess. However, our offense will benefit from the varied and viable options we have provided Cam.  Panthers win Superbowl beating the Patriots and Olsen retires.  Panthers draft a tight end with pick 32.  Kelvin will swear in the offseason that he's taking things seriously as they will need him to be a leader with Olsen retiring., hint: he will because that oh so coveted second contract is looming and Kelvin is no spring chicken (already 26).  Year 5 comes. Kelvin has worked himself into shape and looks amazing. Basically everything we've always wanted from him. However, Funchess has a great season as well, remember Funchess is only (22) right now. He probably came out a year too early and it historically takes WRs a couple years to hit their stride.  Big time decision will come down to Gettleman and co. and I ultimately think we move on from Benjamin where he goes on to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.
    • Competition makes the most of everyone. Gano had an off year and might be spurred on by the challenge. This guy seems like a good kid, but only one or two new kickers make it into the league each year... it's a hard gig to land.
