Carolina Panthers Back Alley of Anti-Fame

Taking the other side of the "Who should be in the Panthers Hall of Fame" topic, let's go down this path:

who's on your list of the Top 5 Biggest Panthers Flameouts? Players who came in with impressive resumes and high hopes, but failed miserably and totally?

Let's keep the talk to on-field performance only, please, rather than non-Football items that ended up with players off the team (Rae *cough*).

Let's start with..... Biakabutuka ?

Rashard Anderson, Chuck Smith (though most suspected his knees were shot), Dwayne Jarrett, Eric Shelton, Attiyah Ellison to name a few.

It's a personal thing for me, but I can't knock people for injury unless it's because they didn't want to workout.

Granted it is disappointing, but I just can't see it as shameful.

Sean Gilbert, hands down #1.

Then David Carr, Dwayne Jarrett, Everette Brown and Jeff Otah.

Agreed - can't fault someone for injuries beyond their control.

I'll throw in HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED who quit the team because "his heart just wasn't in the game anymore" for dishonorable mention.  Yeah, I know I said "on field performance only", but just up and quitting the team like that just made me lose all respect for that kid.

Dan Morgan. Talk about a fizzle. Also Barry Foster way back in the day. Throw in Biakabatuka. Gilbert is definitely at 1.
