Guess what coveted WR by some Huddlers didn't have a TD catch in 2013

I would take nicks for a decent price, but he is not coming cheap. Some GM will pay him for more than he is worth.

I would say being a former Giant asst. GM. Gettleman will be looking hard and maybe pushing hard to get Hick in.  If the money is right I think it would be a good fit for Carolina and Hicks.

<shrug> Hey, if DG can take himn on a one year deal, I say give him a shot. Make him prove he's got it, then we'll see.

Probably not, but some of the deals Gettleman pulled off this past year I would also have a hard time believing would happen, too. If he can do it, cool. If not, the draft is deep at WR this year, or so I've been told.

Rookie WR don't typically make a huge impact their first year. I think we need a FA and rookie WR, personally

Yeah, there is that. I guess my point is that I have faith in DG to fix our problem areas. He made a believer out of me last offsesaon.

I would agree, but this offseason is going to be filled with our FAs (tons of them), filling needs, and managing a crappy cap situation. We will definitely see what he's made of this offseason and be able to judge better.

About WRs...I BIG TIME on the Landry bandwagon. There's a decent shot of grabbing him in the 2nd, too.

Didn't Nicks say he can't throw himself the ball? He's right.
