Has Sakrete gone bankrupt yet?

They have a sweet gig. At 100 bucks a sack they are only out 5000 bucks. They get a ton of avertising for that.

The record for a team is 72 BTW

And that's not from the 85 bears, but the 84 Bears

We got nearly 1/3 (19) of our sacks in the last three games.   Can't wait to see what we can do against Nick Foles and company if they do beat the Aints.

Pretty impressive considering we had just over half that (31) in '09, '10, and '11 and the last time we even reach 40 was 2006.

Side note, did anybody know we only allowed 20 sacks in '08?

Well we had Wharton and Gross in their prime.  I believe Keydrick Vincent was our other guard, and he had stepped up nicely.  Otah was an animal his rookie year and Kalil was shaping up nicely.

Our ground was one of the most devastating the NFL had seen - takes alot of pressure off the passing game.

34 sacks not coming from our bookend DEs.

Great scheme from McDermott, pressure coming form every angle.

Fat Alice set a record for most sacks of potato salad eaten in one sitting.

Thats coach of the year material right there.

MCD deserves a lot of praise as the best D coordinator in Panthers history...do not be afraid of this reality.

Rivera tucks MCD into bed every night. My dumb ass could be coordinator and we would still be this good. Everywhere Rivera has been they have had a really, really good defense. You sure MCD is the reason? I'm willing to bet MCD is the place holder in the equasion.

David Gettleman and Ron Rivera will make this happen every yr, or get really close to it.  Look at these results after one yr together.

Won't matter if we lose McD.  It would suck but whoever replaces him will be drooling at the opportunity.
