I think you're taking it out of context. I think he meant he's tired of it in general when athletes thank god.

Athletes have done that since the beginning of time (whether they belive in God or a god or not).

I don't see a problem with it because most athletes believe that God or a god gave them their talents so why not thank him for it.

you make Winston sound like Cory Booker

Honestly Winston really is goofy person. At least looking at his interviews and believing his teammates.

That was a dumb comment...

And regardless of if you're tired of hearing about it or not... the athletes have worked their way up to that status; they deserve to say whatever they want.

So much is expected from athletes these days. Not only they have to be physically talented but have to be great orators. She's a complete joke. The kid was just excited and nervous. He speaks much better at his press conference. It's funny how that bitch erase her tweet like a little kid, as though it never happen.

Im not taking away his freedom of speech so you can really take your head out of your ass.

I never said that players should be ban from thanking God so thats that too. I made it clear that theres a little too much of it in todays sport. Not just that, the media is the one exxagerating the whole issue. Not me.

You can end it here with your stupid accusation.

It's absurd that he can't speak English well. We spend billions each year to educate our children and these are the results. Pinning this on Winston isn't entirely fair, I'm far more ashamed of his parents, his teachers and his community.

People will say it doesn't matter but it does. It doesn't matter for the tiny % of the population that becomes rap stars, porn stars, and professional athletes. For everyone else they're being put on a path to go through life with a handicap resulting in a lowered living standard and perpetual poverty.

This has nothing to do with being 'a great orator' or 'speaking like a college professor'. It's about spending billions of dollars and the results being illiteracy.

It's pathetic. Our country is inferior and our people are inferior for allowing it.

And English is just the basic building block. Speaking English will get you to the interview and allow you to show your talent. We haven't even started on the ignorance in this country regarding math and science, the tangible skills that make a country wealthy or poor, modern or primitive, etc.

Then blame the media... don't blame the athletes; who are entitled to thank whoever they want regardless of if you are tired of hearing about or not.
