I'll be good with it. I want Stew healthy for the season.

People banged on Gore for a couple of years, now look.

Huh? The fewest games Gore played in during a season is 11. That was one season.

I think we have seen the last of J Stew in a Panthers uniform.   When Beason no longer fit the Panthers, Getman had no problem cutting him loose.

Without looking....Gore has 1000+ rushing yards in 8 of his last 9 seasons. He is about as dependable as it gets

Stewart's contract is an even bigger issues than Beason's

Stewart, just retire, just god damned retire, make your music and be happy.

Do the team GM who stupidly gave you millions for a chronic condition, who ridiculously drafting you in the first round knowing the same, a break.

Hurney, you suck.

We'd have all happily signed the bloated contract Hurney slid under 28s' nose.

"Come on guys, remember 2008!? We have the best RBs in the NFL. Both 34 and 28 should retire as Panthers"

True. But Gore did have to shake the injury prone label that dogged him during the middle of his career. Perhaps Reggie Bush is a better comparison. Or, look at Jon Beason who presumably had a more serious injury (one that definitely degrades over time), and even our very own Thomas Davis. Of course we don't know the specific status of Stew's health, but if the team doctors, coaches and management feel that he can come out of his situation healthy and ready to go, then I do as well. And we would be remiss to just give up on a healthy Stew so easily. We could finally get our money's worth.
