49ers Douchenozzle Safety Eric Reid Hangs Up On Dan Patrick For Asking About Getting Toldozed

A WHOLE PIE!
Well, Patrick started asking more pressing questions because the interview was quickly becoming a vanilla trainwreck... he then asks, did Reid close his eyes when he has to tackle bigger guys. Reid says he'd be lying if he said he didn't close his eyes on EVERY tackle. Patrick asked, who was the ONE guy he knew it would hurt when he had to tackle him. Reid's responses started getting more and more delayed and generic. Long pauses before replying... it got to where it felt like any answer Reid would give to the round of questions would make him less manly and look like a punnani to his peers... you could sense it was going bad fast.
So, Patrick says, what about the Tolbert hit? Reid snaps back quicker than before, and with attitude, "WHAT ABOUT IT?!?!" Patrick says, what does that one feel like? What are you thinking when that happens?
As a viewer/listener, you really wonder what's going on and why he hasn't said anything. He paused for a few questions before that were awkward (like asking about Harbaugh's Wal-Mart pants lol), but he eventually responded, albeit generically. So, you still expect him to answer.
The pause is the longest yet...
Patrick breaks the silence and says, "like that? That's what it was like?" It became clear Reid had hung up on him. Patrick's producer scrambled to call him back, and with the phone to ear and finger rapidly dialing numbers, Patrick says laughingly, "Don't... don't... let it go... " One of the other producers humorously quips, "I'm not talking trousers or concussions."
And yet, another victim of the TOLDOZER is revisited.
That's also why I didnt feel bad in the least for Reid when he got Toldozed. What a dick... have a sense of humor about it.

Yeah, let me joke about damaging my brain.
You volunteer to do the show. What other option do you have? Go on a tirade and rip him a new one? Yeah, that's good PR. Concussions are assumed risks, and they accept responsibility for it when they play.

Most guys would laugh it off and say "yeah, I got trucked, it happens"... at least that's the mature way to handle it.
Maybe he has a bit of an ego.
That would be my approach. Laugh it off and make light of it for the sake of public perception. But, it felt like the whole interview he was extremely guarded as though any answer he might give that gives credit to an opponent would degrade himself in the process. It was really weird.
