One year deal Gettleman style?  HELL YES.  He could be our Anquan Boldin.

They don't have the WR depth to even begin thinking of cutting him.

Texans will not let him go. They'll work out a cap friendly deal. Dre will retire a Texan.

He'll be a cap problem for another team unless he goes somewhere like NE or Denver to play with Manning or Brady.

I'd definitely sign him though

At this point in his career, I think championship will be more important than cash.

Yes, yes.

I have been asking how possible is it for us to get him along with Chris Johnson. Andre would have to restructure his contract though. And Andre may be under the impression that the Texans are a QB away from competing therefore may not want to risk moving over to Carolina.

soooo..we're not contenders?

anyone screaming Lafell sucks or we need a wr or cam needs targets should agree with the question at hand not the cap reality. AJ would solidify us as a elite team but there certainly would be some cuts to squeeze him in

I'd rather take a chance on a cheaper and younger Kenny Britt. Then draft another WR.

The thing that makes this site hilarious is that one minute we are talking about how Hurney ruined us with cap space and that we don't have enough money to resign Mitchell and the next we are talking about signing Andre Johnson. Sorry fellas. That's not gonna happen. Hakeem Nicks or Jeremy Maclin maybe. But that's as big as our WR signing could get in free agency.

He would get into a fist fight with Steve Smith

can you imagine the carnage?

that would kill a panthers practice

Considering Andre Johnson is going to get 6.5 million in a base salary I doubt they would get rid of him. That isn't overly expensive for a WR with 100 catches 1400 yards and 5 tds.

Expecting even half the impact from a rookie is a pipe dream.
