For me, I'll take Connor Shaw of South Carolina, we need a true backup quarterback, rather than DA or Clausen.

Lawrence Virgil Valdosta State. Can play any position on the line on both sides of the ball (except center he could never snap very well)

Connor Shaw won't go undrafted. Mark it down.

After this past year's UDFA class, I think I'll trust Gettleman on this one.

What about Mike Davis of Texas? A deep threat.

Shaw is no doubt underrated.. watching him this season truly showed this guy is a fuging winner. Never lost a home game? Rarely throws a INT. He made some great comebacks this year. A guy that wants to win that bad is always great to have on your team even if he is on the sideline.

This guy is russel wilson esq

I would love for a team to make him the starter as it would be fun watching him play in the big leagues.

He was contemplating joining the Navy Seals over NFL

He had one giant issue though. He's a 2 read QB. 1,,2, run/check. He rarely ever went through his progressions. That contributed a lot toward the low INT number he was very very safe with the ball and often times it would kill the drive.

Need Derek Anderson experience.

DA doesn't have mobility.  If the pocket starts to collapse, DA is either going to take the sake or throw the ball away, while someone like Shaw would scrabble and try to make something out of nothing.  Shaw isn't afraid to take a hit.  I would take Shaw over Anderson in a heart beat.

Can DA win games for us when Cam is down? NO CHANCE.

But I would give Shaw a chance if we develop him well.
