Great move by the Hornets! Wright, West, and Okafor...our frontcourt is looking nice and the Hornets have definitly improved. I like this deal!

Surely this is just to free up massive amounts of cap space in the future. I don't see too much of a drop off talent wise but the injury history of Chandler concerns me.

Why? What the h*ll? We didn't resign the oft injured May in order to let a healthy Okafor go for a chronically injured Chandler?!?

The Bobcats owe Okafor at least 60 million. Perhaps that's the incentive in moving him.

yeah his salary is 3 million less than Chandlers over each of the next 2 seasons.

We don't need another tall guy in street clothes to watch games and soak up a good sideline seat and a couple mill.

I don't like it!

Gives Larry a lot of room money-wise to start building the team more how he sees fit. Seems odd to have a "rebuilding" phase after coming so close to a playoff berth but Brown is still a very new coach here so I guess it makes some sense.

Yeah, I'm playing devil's advocate here....sue me....

lol it doesn't take a gm to realize how dumb it is to trade for a player who has worst stats and didn't play in half the games of the player you're trading.

I've lost at interest in the Bobcats.

This is my line of thinking. Big men in the nba that are injury prone usually don't just snap out of it. I think scott fowler is the only person on the interwebs that thinks this is a good trade

I would be ecstatic if I thought Scott Fowler was worth a damn.
