Bad idea.

Bad idea? They ought to just legalize it for everyone, and get it over with. And, no, I'm not a smoker.

It's a mechanism to keep high end players from failing drug tests.

"Oh Bobby WideReceiver is just recovering from an injury, he passes this test"

its should be legal everywhere by now anyway. dumbest thing ever that's its not. no worse than tobacco or alcohol. yet we continue to was tax dollars arresting people for selling a natural herb

Alcohol and tobacco are much worse for you. I don't understand why people are still against it.

Allowing someone who has medical marijuana prescribed to them is not the same as legalizing it for everyone.  Since it is still illegal federally even if states legalize it I wonder how that would affect the NFL who has to abide by federal guidelines for everything else since they operate across the country.  It might end up like the star caps case where state laws trumped the NFL ban.

would this mean just for the 2 rec. legalized states or that players can get a med card and use it in the med states, that would open up a lot more teams

medical-marijuana-state-map.gif

Im counting 10 teams that would be counted for this if its medical states and not just the 2 recreational legal states

2 are iffy though, because they play in New Jersey which is medical, but named New York which is not
