Meh.. figured we wouldn't get it anyway. Portland dropping in standings helps though

::I figure we could sticky this for the rest of the season and I will update as it changes::

Bobcats pick: #15 Chicago owns (Top #10 protected)

Detroit pick: #10 we own (Top #8 protected)

Portland pick: #28 we own

Last edit: Feb 6th

Been well over a month? No update?

Intervals of 8.

Detroit pick: 8 (they'd keep it)

Our pick: 16 (to Chicago)

Portland pick: 24 (we'd get it)

Of course even if Detroit finishes 8th we can still get the pick if someone jumps them in the lottery (top 8 protected).

Detroit tanking, they will definitely keep their pick, might even be 7th.

They will probably be 10 games over 500 next season

Anderson would be a solid pick.

He creates matchup problems with his height, can play multiple positions, facilitates well, and can get you some points.

How do you figure?  Detroit might be the worst put together team in the NBA, their roster just doesnt make sense.  They have some talent but clearly have no direction and no flexibility thanks to their big contracts

After watching Stauskas light up Texas, I would be very happy with that pick. At 6'6 you can play him at the 2 and 3 and he rebounds really well for his size.

He's also not your prototypical white shooter. He can create his own shot and take opposing players off the dribble. He reminds me a lot of Chandler Parson's.

I'd also love to have Adrian Payne. A PF combo of Zeller and Payne would be filthy.

Tongue in cheek, just a "this would be our luck" statement

Portland has fallen quit a bit lately and is only 2.5 games from being out of the playoffs.

Would not mind rooting for them to lose and drop out of the playoffs and pick up a few spots in the draft.

Aldridge is expected back Thursday however so hopefully he struggles and they continue to fall.
