Truth be told, Andy Reid should be coach of the year by taking a team that went 2-14 the previous year to a playoff berth.  That was amazing, and Ron is the home team but real is real.

That 2-14 team had six Pro Bowlers, compared to a 7-9 Panthers team that had zero. The Chiefs also fell apart down the stretch, ensuring they were out of the division picture despite starting 9-0, while we clawed back from 1-3 and toppled the Saints for the division crown and #2 seed.

Wrong. For the reasons fieryprophet just laid out.

RR was the NFLs best coach this year. Period. Its why he won the award from more than one source.

I've never seen Jerry Richardson smile so much, since before his heart transplant.

Congratulations to the coach and franchise.
Well deserved.

We got something special brewing here fellas.

- A competent, smart GM.

- A defensive mastermind growing as a Head Coach

- Death Star

- Luke Kuechly aka 'Baby' Ray Lewis

- Cam "The Swiss Army Knife" Newton

I've never been so excited to be a Panther fan in my life. The future is looking bright.

I was at a point where I didn't think he had it in him to turn things around.  So, I congratulate him for his recognition and for

proving me wrong at the same time.

I feel like 8VUv0hY.jpg?1?5975 for this team.

Here's the video of Ron accepting the award

Sent from my SPH-D710 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

Teared up watching this. Riverboat gave credit to his coaches team, owners, fans, and a nice thank you to his family and wife...and then gave a shout out to the armed forces.  He is such a class act.  Plus he is coach of the year....by everyone. He has to be the most likeable guy in the NFL. I am so happy for him...and so happy for the Panthers.  I hope is is our coach for a very long time...and is very successful.

Was that Coach Rivera slyly doing the double superman in this video clip?
