Didn't think Luke was the DPoTY but he won it and I'm happy. Love Luke and he definitely is deserving. Considering there was no clear cut fav for the award, it's hilarious to say others were robbed.

I've lost count of big market players that we're over hyped their whole fuggin careers and paraded in my face.  People aren't used to seeing a guy from a small market take what they think is theirs and they get confused.  Fug them.

talented GOAT-type players get utter hatred for zero plausible reason all the time. it's the mark of true stardom when people hate you for irrational reasons and can't legitimately explain why.

pretty sweet to have one on our team.

It is sweet, but to be fair... Quinn was a beast this year lol (which is not a knock on Luke at all)

If someone else won the award there would be tweets about how that player didn't deserve it. Every single year is like that. No sweat it's just fan bs

You can find tweets like that from fans and media though.  I even saw a tweet earlier from a reportedly Panther fan saying Luke wasn't even the best LB on the Panthers......

Thomas Davis is pretty fugging good.  I guess we have the best two linebackers in the division.  I don't really think there's much of a gap between them.  Davis hits harder, Kuech gets more tackles. They're both great at playing screen passes.

They're really going to hate him when he raises a Lombardi over his head.

Of course, the hate preceded him even becoming a Pro.

Resolution:

The drafting of Luke Kuechly, while popular at the moment, would not be beneficial to the longterm future of the organization. Don't mistake me, Luke Kuechly is a talented football player, and he will likely become a solid pro, but he does not warrant a top ten pick. Recent history, Cost-Benefit Analysis, and level of impact would behoove the Panthers' Front Office to passover Kuechly in favor of another prospect.

Ah, I still remember the Huddle implosion that followed Kuechly's pick. . .

And yet, here we are.
