Sidney Rice is expected to be a cap casualty. Anyone interested in a guy that once showed promise before the injury bug took a big bite out of his hind-parts?  I mean, theoretically he could be a game changing type of WR. Certainly more-so than Hixon, right?  Rice could have some gas left, or might only have fumes at this point. Who knows?

He might come with a Superbowl premium.  If not its worth a discussion.

I appreciate this Dawg--good thread for the off season, but the draft is so loaded at WR, I have to think that we will look to fill other positions in free agency. I think we are going DB, and DE in free agency, WR and OT in the draft.  However, Gettlemen is not playing when he says BPA.

I would DEFINITELY want him here he is a number 1 WR, Favre knew how to use him.

Cam would make him a star again.

He was on his way to being a Fitzgerald-light until the injury bug hit him.  And he isn't going to get any shorter, so he's always got that...  He would instantly be our #2, I just would be concerned that he wouldn't be able to stay healthy.

He'd be an adequate replacement for LaFell IF he could stay healthy.  I have a feeling they are keeping Ginn and drafting a big bodied blocking type receiver though.  Might keep Hixon around since he's cheap.
