He started 16 games last year and only had 700 yards

lets have fun with numbers...
He was targeted on 20% of the passing attempts
He accounted for 25% of the receiving yards and touchdowns.

No way we should take him at his current salary. If Gettleman can get him down to $2-3 million, we'd be stupid to pass him up.

I'll put it like this... if the saints had a bounty on him in the 2009 NFCCG, then I want him

We share the same hometown of Gaffney, SC. I have always heard that we were ready to draft him but he went a pick before we picked in the second round that year, I'd love to bring him here for cheap and let him prove he is still worth the big money.

He got taken right before our 2nd round pick and we got stuck with Dwayne Jarrett.

from the rotoworld blurb on him:

One of the league's least durable players, Rice has just 114 total catches since notching 83 in 2009.

How so? Would he rehab harder? The guy is good for IR, that's about it.

Never done squat without Favre throwing the ball.

We have a QB in the same mold as Favre.

While true, it's not real fair to compare Cam to Favre at that stage of his career.
