You are the only one in this thread talking about an agenda, and repeatedly bringing up Michael Sam at the same time.

Again I ask. Please elaborate on this agenda.

I'm not going down that road on a forum. If there was an agenda present in this situation and across the nation right now, what would it be? Ask A&E how it worked for them.

See, you are part of the problem. I never once stated my stance on the issues, just stated my thoughts on the timing. I feel there is a reason this all is playing out like it is. Immediately for criticaly thinking about something, I'm a bigot? Sheeple..

This story and the resulting independent investigation started months before anybody ever heard of Michael Sam.

To suggest there's a tie in is a huge reach.

The only tie in to M. Sam himself is the timing of the release of the report. And it is likely coincidence. Who knows.

The tie in is that the NFL and Goodell knows that very soon the NFL will be an organization where it is perfectly acceptable to be an outed gay man. Didn't need M. Sam to point that out though he probably accelerated the whole issue. And the current locker room and risk management atmosphere isn't geared for that. To avoid litigation it needs to be changed.

I agree with you.

Nobody would give two shits about this mediocre player if he didn't make racist comments. None of these people who are like "Hmmm maybe we should sign him, i'm sure he's misunderstood" would even know who he was otherwise.

It's like women who write and fall in love with men in prison.

re: Riley Cooper, similar applies here, too. Some people just want to sign any problem child and will insist despite all evidence that they're just misunderstood.

don't have the ability to make a thread so I thought this would be best place for it but just saw that 'Player A' in the Ted Wells report was Andrew MacDonald, an OL who is now with us. Thought that was interesting

That's right. He was one of our future contract signings.

Incognito says you can't define him in 144 pages, I think you can do it in as little as three words.

Piece of poo.

    • Sure, discuss away. Like Montsta has pointed out already, Fournette is an unknown outside of the serious football world.  The only place he is likely commonly known is the Deep South, and the Deep South is definitely not known for being cutting-edge trailblazers in the world-wide fashion scene. So, do explain to all of us schlubs how Leonard Fournette being provided free high-fashion shoes raises the status and profile of a world-reknowned designer.
    • LOL, have you not noticed the trend of athletes and their fashion sense? NFL.com has red carpet videos and reviews: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft-red-carpet http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap2000000348360/Top-3-best-dressed-on-NFL-Draft-Draft-red-carpet Even B list stars get free high fashion. Are you really going to tell me that only A list stars get dressed for free? Sorry guys, if you've missed the fashion revolution of the NFL, you aren't watching close enough. It's just funny that it's out of the question to think that a player, who might be the most discussed draft prospect, could get free swag from designers. Do you really think Cam isn't getting free stuff from designers who want him to wear it and post pictures for his followers? It's still a violent sport folks, but damn, too funny. I'm done, I don't even care about fashion. I have no idea whose shoes Fournette was wearing.
