The Cavs have won 7straight, and we just smacked the pistons kemba had 24pt & a career high 16 ast. What is our outlook on the rest of the year? If Cleveland stays hot and passes us which I believe will happen, do we tank it out? Or try to fight for the not so coveted 8th seed?

I think another team will drop out if the Cavs do pull even.  We'll still be in there.

What team? Brooklyn? There isn't really any body ahead of Charlotte that would fall.

That's who I had in mind.

I just don't see us dropping out of it with the way Al is playing, and Kemba seems to have adjusted his game to benefit him as of late.

I'm honestly thinking that we will be the 9th seed in the east when it's all said and done

Bobcats currently only 1.5 back of Atlanta for the 5th seed.

That's the other reason I don't see us falling out of contention.  It's entirely possible that we move up in the seeding and the Hawks are another team I could see flailing at the finish line.  I think the Wizards will hold on there at the bottom, but that's about it.

Well, we make the Playoffs and the Pistons can keep on losing more games.

Trade Ben Gordon + 2014 2nd Round Pick for Evan Turner.

MJ and co. better not be stupid and trade away that Detroit pick! Right now, we are currently holding onto the 10th pick in the draft (pre lottery). We can still get a pretty darn good player with that pick.

Charlotte has 2 players better than anyone Cleveland has & we already smacked them around twice this season.

They aren't passing us.

Don't worry guys - it's about that time of the year where KRYrie Irving will twist his ankle and miss 3 weeks.

Off topic but has there been any news on Brendan Haywood coming back? Not that he would get any playing time but just curious

Expect Kyrie Irving to turn it on. He wants LeBron to come join him next year in Cleveland and he knows LeBron will only come if they stop looking like the train wreck of the first half of the season. He's going to start giving 110% rather than the 80-90% from the first half of the year.

Cavs are still three games back having won 6 ina row. I think at this point we just need to hope to get the 5th or 6th seed. That tough stretch of games starting @ SA will tell us a lot though.
