yeah. Cause the packers, saints, and broncos built their wr core from all high draft picks....right?

Lol

not all high picks, but they have invested in the WR position with numerous high picks.3rd or higher.

one thing i noticed when he was interviewing was that Star, Kawaan, and AJ were all BPA. no mention of the other 2 picks about being BPA.

That moment when the huddle gets butthurt Gettleman doesn't draft a WR to improve their madden rosters. It sounds like priority is OL then CB at 28. If somebody is really off that they don't want, they might look at WR. I guess it really depends on free agency. All my trust goes in him in picking the right player. You could see a potential franchise OL or CB drop to 28, someone always does.

No way was Kugbila the BPA during our 4th round selection...

But it could be argued that Barner was BPA in the 6th.

thats my point, why change your strategy. i wanted Kenny Stills, but there was other talent on the board.

Maybe Kugbila was BPA based on potential. After all, his measurements and intangibles are impressive and he was considered a four star prospect when Florida and Alabama were trying to recruit him.

When I first read "Smitty is a part of the evaluation process" my first thought was he'll have input on potential WRs (FA or draft) not that Gettleman was evaluating his place on the team. I guess both are possible. I don't think there's any way JR would sign off on letting Smitty go before he's ready though.

If you have to evaluate your best fuging WR is that a sign that uhh maybe you need some talent at the position.

I believe he was saying that they are consulting Smitty on the WR position. Gathering input from various sources. I don't think they are trying to figure out if Smitty still has a place on the team.

I watch his interview and Gettleman just gives me a ton of confidence in building a perennial playoff team.

I just wonder which prospects are going to jump out to our staff this year.

And the answer is never on your fuging roster. Thinking it is, is the reason 12-4 teams go 7-9 the next year.

The Answer was always on Hurneys roster until he got canned so....

AE, Gattis, etc weren't the answer at WR and sorry but if King or McNutt were they would have contributed here or somewhere else before we picked them up out of the garbage.

the panthers have invested with numerous mid picks also.

Just cause thise investmemts haven't worked out, doesn't change the fact.
