The Detroit pick is guaranteed at some point


Clearly meant for this year they could tank hard or get lucky in the lottery and we would only have the Portland pick , which is why i think we shyed away from trading the Portland pick because we would not have any this year. 


But hey if we dont get it this year I dont see them getting any better with any of the rookies they would draft. That team is such a hot mess , Josh Smith has been a bust and unless he elevates his game they will likely be in the lottery next year and its only top one protected next year and I would not mind them getting lucky in the lottery and us getting a top 5 pick next year.

That it definitely wasn't, it improved the Bobcats biggest glaring weakness on offense. Sessions while great at getting to the hole and drawing contact was a very poor shooter from pretty much any where else on the floor. This gives the Bobcats shooters and floor spacing. 


I can't wait to see them in action.
