Madison gets the nod for opening day! 24-years old & he's now the Ace of a very good staff. If he can get some damn run support this season he will make a strong run at his first Cy Young Award.

The NL West will be hotly contested.

Good Luck, but go Blue!

Arizona & Colorado are very good & being overlooked. Will be a good race between SF & LA but one of those teams could spoil things.

I'd put my money on the NL WS rep being from the West.

I grew up with Bumgarner so I watch SF whenever he pitches, other than that I couldn't care less about SF. I just wish they'd start giving him even average run support. It's pathetic. I'm tired of seeing him throw 7-8 innings, giving up 0-2 runs, & still getting a L or ND.

I'm a NYY fan personally. Wouldn't mind seeing the pinstripes snag him in a few years.

    • He wore 27 for a while at Stanford but that's taken by Mike Adams at the moment. He did wear 22 while playing youth football. And yes, that number is open. He could conceivably trade someone out of their number or change his jersey later. The league frowns on high picks changing numbers though (for marketing reasons).
    • I don't want Robinson at all.  He has all the makings of another overrated Alabama OT that washes out of the league.
