Aircraft made no attempt to communicate before it disappeared.  Not a good sign as most likely it was a instant.

That is a pretty common thing for people looking to travel places they couldn't otherwise. People steal passports all the time.

Just because someone had a stolen passport doesn't mean much. The chances of that being on any particular flight are a lot higher than you think.
