Most analysts rate him as a late 1 or early 2, so I don't see that as a reach at all.

Thats bc this OT class is so weak. He's a late 2nd to 3rd round talent imo. Hasnt seen anything that tells me hes a 1st round talent other than having great size.

Well, then you are in the minority.   And most actually consider this a strong OT class.

You may be the one in the minority on this one.

It started out strong, until Hurst got injured, Erving, Ogbuehi, Scherff, and Collins all returned to school. Plus, the knee issues on Kouandjio and Tiny.

Mosses is not a reach at 28. As the other poster mentioned he is a late 1st early 2nd guy. He has good size and moves well. Has all the tools to be successful in the NFL imo.

Actually, his ascent began at the senior bowl.  Prior to that he seemed to be a consensus 3rd rounder.  But after people got a chance to check him out and evaluate him in the game, he shot up the boards.  Happens all the time as analysts take a closer look at players.  As he's been run through the paces, analysts clearly feel he's a late 1st or early 2nd talent.  Sure, if those other guys were in the draft/not injured the whole draft board would look different, but their not, so their not relevant.  Moses' ranking isn't in relation to other OT's, it's based on where analysts feel his talent level fits within the entire draft class.  So no, he would not be a reach for us at all at 28.

Disagree. His stock was already rising before the senior bowl. Most mocks had him at 28 then. I kept my eyes on him during the SenBowl and Combine. I saw a 2nd round talent.

The only OL projected to be available at 28 that I would not mind is David Yankey. I know that he's projected to be an OG, but has experience at LT. One of those guys that can play all 5 positions on the line. Also, very good size at 6'5".

Id say 6'6 is very good size for a T.

I don't think we draft Moses at 28 even though he may be our first pick

I have a feeling someone is going to trade for our first in order to get Jimmy Garoppolo before the second round starts

Agree. Hope someone trades up for QB at 28.
